Meet the owner of Okanagan Earthside

Hi, I’m Haley

I grew up in Whitehorse, Yukon, which is also where my career in maternity care began. I spent six years as a labour and delivery nurse at Whitehorse General Hospital, where I became well trained in infant resuscitation and stabilization.

When I moved to the Okanagan in 2018, I carried on in labour and delivery at Penticton Regional Hospital and added my Neonatal Intensive Care specialty. After four years, the long nights and shift work caught up with me, so I moved into public health. I did home baby visits, ran child health clinics, and supported at-risk families, and that’s also when I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Today I’m a Baby-Friendly Initiative Coordinator, which means I help make sure families get consistent, evidence-based feeding support, in hospital and at home in the community.

Okanagan Earthside is where all of that comes together, and where my passion really shines: giving families the education they need to feel empowered and supported.

I live in Okanagan Falls with my husband, our two kids, and our two dogs, and I’m here to help you feel ready for what’s ahead.

I would love to hear from you
